About This Game Take control of a range of different machines and operate them in a unique environment. Each new game generates a new and fully dynamic world, and it is yours to develop: Dig and build anything, anywhere!All machines have been carefully modelled down to small details. They all have opening doors and hatches, switches that control fully simulated systems, and have realistic physics models. You climb into and onto the machines, watch battery and fuel levels, follow realistic procedures that mimic the real machines. Our goal is to make you think of these machines as your own.What you choose to do is up to you. Machine World revolves around Blueprints, which are generated by us at Trino and by players. Blueprints challenge you to build certain structures, and can have time and fuel limits. But if you just want to develop your own buildings in your own world, you can. In a sense, that is what it is designed to do. Machine World is about total, creative freedom.Features16+ unique, fully modelled machines (14 currently unlocked, with more to follow)Component modelled machines. All systems are discretely system modelled, including engines, fuel tanks/pumps, batteries, gear boxes, etc. This means that under the hood, the game simulates these systems interacting individually, which will allow us to add system failures and resource management to the game.Fully deformable terrain. Dig and deform anywhere, without limitations. Dynamic (and removable) trees, rocks and debris.Dynamic water simulation. Takes the dynamic terrain into account and simulates various wave behaviours in real time based on weather and wind.Unlimited number of worlds, procedurally generated on demand (based on real world erosion and other terrain factors).Large catalog of construction parts and materials, including lighting, windows, doors, etc.First person oriented, and you can enter buildings you create and install lights, etc. (Furniture will arrive during Early Access).A labor of love. For all those people out there who love a simulative sand box game where you can drive, build and explore, this game is for you. Machine World 2 uses realisitc graphics and machines. You want to build a mansion, you can do it. You want to build a mansion on a mountain, you can do it. You want to build a mansion on a mountain with a helicopter pad to land your private sport helicopter on, YOU CAN DO IT. The truth is Machine World 2 is a game that anyone with a creative mind will love. I know i do.. Using a mobile crane on a slope with out out riggers while lifting a dozer 10/10.But really this game is fun controls are a little hard on a keyboard, the idea of the game is great and yes its EA, So things are a little choppy. Only real concern is when your landing ship hits waves it goes airborne like a failed kerbal space plane and loops, Other then controls and the landing ship its fun.. i thought this game was gunna fun to mess around and have fun. first this game is super challanging to even get in the atv and exevator. this game is so bad it should even be eary acces. i wasted my money and am hopeing to get a full refund Radio Silence: Hi,First of all, I apologise for the lack of communication - and updates. I understand that many of you are disappointed.As I have mentioned earlier, MW2 as of yet has far from covered the (relatively large) expenses we spent developing it. I really could not spend more funds on the project in the current state. It is unfortunately simple business, too few sales = little resources for development.I have since taken a long break, partly due to the fatigue after spending 3 solid years developing the game without any pause whatsoever. But also due to health issues (serious) in the family and other projects to ensure financial stability for the company and the family.I do not expect everyone to understand the situation, but I hope that a few of you are able to sympathise with the harsh realities of running a business, developing a good product, but sadly one that found too small an audience.Now, this may all sound as if the project is abandoned and there is not hope. That is not the situation. Development will continue, but I have had to step back and take a look at Machine World as a product and where to go next.There is a plan in place and regardless of how things play out the idea is to bring updates under this product name in the future.I hope you understand the situation, support us and the product, and we will do our best to keep Machine World rolling in the not too distant future.Best regards,Daniel. 0.1.5.6 - Various fixes: Greetings,There is now a new build in the Iterative branch (will move to the default branch in a couple of days). Fixes:- The mountain slider when creating a new game now makes a difference. It will still not create entirely flat islands, but it will do what it is designed to: weight the character of the generated world.- The delivery ship pathfinding has been improved.- The feedback from the deliver ship has been improved (meaning it will indicate failure / success when navigating more reliably).Please keep in mind that the operator (you! ;-) ) has some responsibility when selecting the shore position for the deliver vehicle; If you select a too shallow (or steep) shore point, the ship will have difficulty docking.You can always reselect the docking point though and the ship will switch destination.As always, please provide any feedback you may have. All tracked vehicles have been a bit tricky to turn, and initiating a turn while in forward/backward motion was hard.This is now a thing of the past as the track simulation is massively improved.Also, we have continued to tune ground deformation, especially how much disturbed ground flattens and how much buckets deform.Have a great weekend!Best regards,Daniel. 5 days to go! Build EA 0.1.5.7 : Placement and Delivery ship: Greetings,We are happy to release a new build that continues to improve on the core functionality in the simulation. This is a preparation for the missions to come.This new build contains the following:- Major improvements to placement of the player and vehicle(s) in new game sessions. It will now be very rare to get a bad placement at game start, and the initial position will usually be very close to the shore.- The AI for the Delivery Ship is further improved and it now better finds paths to tricky shores, and is also quicker to react to changes in orders (ie. when you send it away from the shore and then change your mind, etc.). In short, it should now be much easier to use.- Many smaller fixes and improvements (performance, logging, etc.).As always, this build is first released into the Iterative branch (you have to opt in to the beta) and in a couple of days it will become the default build.I would like to take this opportunity to again ask for submissions for blueprints and ideas for missions you would like to see. Both the excavator and bulldozer have had an overhaul of their track simulation. They will deform ground much more around the tracks, and generally have better traction. As such they should be much harder to get stuck and should be able to more easily traverse very uneven ground.As always, comments & questions very welcome.Best regards,Daniel. 0.1.5.4 - Roads: Greetings,You have all requested a quick and easy way to flatten larger areas. We listened, and that function is now in the iterative build. It is found in the PDA under the building (cone) tab, and is the last icon in the row (arrow flattening ground).Basically it allows you to set two points, a width (4->10 meters right now) and then automatically flatten the area between those two points, with a preserved incline between the points.Of course, this does not replace the plans for actual road building, but is a quick and easy way for you to process larger areas for building or transport.Besides that we are continuing tweaks / fixes.As always, your feedback is most welcome!Best regards,Daniel. Welcome to the first week of Early Access!: Greetings,First of all a big Thank You to all of you who purchased Machine World 2! We really appreciate it. We are also pleased to learn that you enjoy the concept and the possibilities in the game!We are also very thankful for all the feedback we have received over the weekend, both positive and negative!We are now hard at work fixing the reported issues in order of importance. First priority is fixing a few problems which have caused a few (<5 that we know of) who have encountered crashes or freezes at startup.After that we are fixing a few control issues, primarily related to mouse / keyboard input and a few problems with control remapping for multiple joysticks.Next in order after this are tweaks to the excavator and bulldozer, along with a few physics fixes.These fixes will be rolled out continuously and immediately, in the main branch. However, we will create a "legacy" branch available to you in Steam properties. This is useful *if* a new fix build should somehow make something worse for you. You will then be able to select the last build and get on playing.We will be posting patch notes as announcements along with daily major builds.As always, any questions or comments; post them here, or better yet in our forums. :)Best regards,Daniel
